Tripadvisor’s annual “best of the best” Traveller’s Choice Awards has landed, with plenty of destinations to inspire your next holiday and this year, Dubai has taken the crown as the “best destination in the world”. Though the destination is known for luxury stays, world-class restaurants and high-end shopping, among other things, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some good package holiday deals on offer.
Dubai can be easily reached via direct flights from the UK on offer from a number of airlines, including British Airways, Emirates, TUI and Virgin Atlantic to name a few. And thanks to the high frequency of options, that means there are always competitive prices to enjoy.

Dubai’s toasty climate is also another draw for holidaymakers who want guaranteed sunshine. Even in its coldest month of January, the region experiences average highs of 24C and average lows of 14C, making it a fantastic winter sunshine hotspot.
But, if you really like it hot, then the summer months are for you. Dubai sees its hottest temperatures in August, where average highs can see the thermometer soar to 44C.

Emirates fly direct to Dubai from Birmingham, Glasgow, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle. The carrier also offers its own separate package holidays arm, including an array of hotel options.
